| Clint Irwin, CUFC Alum, was recently named to the 2010 Men's MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List. The MAC Hermann Trophy is the highest individual award in intercollegiate soccer. The recipients are selected by NCAA Division I coaches who are members of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Clint is a Senior goalkeeper for Elon University. we wish Clint all the best during the upcoming season! |

| For the second straight year, a CUFC team advanced to the finals of the USA CUP held in Blaine, Minnesota. This year saw the 94 Boys advance to the Finals of the V-Elite group.
Advancing to the finals is quite the accomplishment as the USA Cup is the largest tournament in the Western Hemisphere and teams must qualify to participate in the exclusive V-Elite bracket. |

The team played strong throughout the round robin games and won a tough match in the semi-finals. | The Harris Y Green U-12 boys traveled to the Great Carolina Shootout in Myrtle Beach for their first tournament as a team and came home as finalists in the U-12 Division III. | Academy Director Grant Porter and Coach Casey Carr took the first CUFC U10 Academy group down to Augusta, Georgia this past weekend. Combined there were four teams with forty total kids (20 girls/20 boys). All four teams went undefeated in group play and advanced to the championship round to face each other. | The 93 Girls Gold played a great weekend of soccer at the 2007 CASL Shootout, working their way to the finals. Along the way, the won games against OCSA Coastal Crew (2-1), Indian Harbor Beach Three Lions (3-0) and CASL Spartan United (3-1). In teh finals, they ran into a strong Mandeville Lakers team where they fell short 2-1. Way to go girls! |

As a result, the younger ages of CUFC had some wonderful success stories to note to go along with the successes of the older boys. BRANDON JORDI (92 Gold) has been invited to represent the 94 USA NATIONAL POOL later this year. MATT BROWN (92 Gold) became a member of the Region 3 ODP team and EMORY ORR (93 Gold) finished off a great week being named to the 94 Region 3 paper pool.
